This a three hour, two DVD set of the first of John Jakes' epic American Bicentennial series which follows the adventures of Phillip Kent from his boyhood in France to the beginnings of the Revolutionary War in Boston. After fleeing to colonial America, he comes in contact with the great figures of the Revolution including Benjamin Franklin and Paul Revere. The story is also about the women in his life - an aristocratic English woman and a spirited American girl. The star-studded cast includes Tom Bosley, Kim Cattrall, Buddy Ebson, Lorne Greene, Olivia Hussey, Eleanor Parker, Noah Beery and Andrew Stevens as Phillip Kent.
Viewing quality of this hard to find movie is very good. It is shipped in a plastic case with the artwork as shown. It is region free and will play anyplace in the world.
