In the 1970s, Barry Sheene was the superstar of superbike motorcycle racing. In England, his home country, he was treated like royalty and was even made an "MBE" - Member of the British Empire." He won more 500cc GPs and 750 races than anyone during the period 1975-82 including 3 World Championships.
The movie is a fictionalized but entertaining account of his career. Lots of racing and 170 mph crashes along with an insight into his personal life (his wife, Stephanie McClean also appears.) Also an insight into negotiations with Japanese sponsors. Any fan of motorcycle GP racing should have this film in their collection.
Viewing quality of this hard to find movie is excellent. It is shipped in a plastic case with the artwork as shown.
