Young Jeff Clark (Slade) is determined to break into the world of Top Fuel Drag Racing. With questionable help from his friend Norm, he finally gets a chance with the team of Cole and Quinn. Ron Cole (Slate) is a no-nonsense professional who has no tolerance for anyone who won’t do things his way. Dave Quinn is his devious partner who has ambitions of his own. Jeff’s snooty girlfriend, Sheila, wants no part of anything to do with drag racing but Jeff doesn’t care. Along the way, he meets Chris (Walley) and doesn’t look back. From 1971, this film is a nostalgic look at the world of big time drag racing. Lots of Front Engine dragsters driven by drag racing superstars like Gerry Glenn, Larry Dixon and Mike Snively.
