George C Scott plays a retired mobster living in an out of the way fishing village in Portugal. He drives an old BMW with a supercharger. He's called on to make one last run into France with an escaped prisoner (Tony Musante) and his girlfriend. The story is about the chase, the double crosses and the shootings. Critics didn't care much for this film but we think it's pretty good.
Trivia Note: Colleen Dewhurst, Scott's wife at the time, played his wife in this film. Trish Van Devere plays the girlfriend who eventually becomes his next wife in real life.
Viewing quality of this rarely seen movie is quite good - almost a 10. It is shipped in a plastic case with the artwork as shown.
