This 1971 effort is a notch above the typical bad biker film from this era. Robert Fuller (Emergency and Wagon Train TV series) stars in what is considered to be one of his better roles. He is Phil, a Marine sergeant who accompanies his dead buddy's body back from Viet Nam. His dying wish is that Phil find Big Red, the leader of a biker gang to attend his funeral. The movie is about the journey to find him and the characters he meets along the way.
Some nice scenery and a pretty good soundtrack including "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" by Bill Medly. It also has some very authentic old school choppers including "Baby," the chopper that Fuller inherits from his buddy Lenny. Complete with moralistic undertones including the fact that Lenny was black but had a white girl friend (Sherry Bain) Pretty mundane nowadays but a bit out front for 1971. Could be one of the few low-budget biker films that both a motor cycle guy and his girlfriend might enjoy watching together
Viewing quality of this hard to find movie is excellent. It is shipped in a plastic case with the artwork as shown.
