This is the true story of 450 U.S. soldiers who in 1965, found themselves surrounded by 2,000 North Vietnamese regulars in the Ia Drang Valley of Viet Nam. The story is similar to Black Hawk Down in that young American soldiers are vastly outnumbered by enemy forces
