OK, here it is - a nostalgia trip straight
out of the seventies. I am quite sure it was originally
built by Denver's Choppers when they were in San Bernardino.
Denver's is still in business in Henderson Nevada but pretty
much builds only Harley Choppers these days. But who knows -
given the resurgence of interest in these retro choppers,
maybe they will build bikes like this one of these days.
This particular Denver's frame is the only
one I am aware of with this very clean style - the front down
tubes come down right next to each other. The handlebars are
the single pull-back type and extend out of the rear springer
tubes. Look at some current Denver's choppers and you
will see they are still doing it this way.
There are no unnecessary tabs, wiring or
other extraneous junk. The frame is nicely molded
- no weld marks visible. The exhaust is "four into two" with
the "two" extending back to the front of the rear tire. There
is nothing "radical" or extreme - everything is very
tastefully done.
